Our president and co-founder, Saulius Fidleris, personifies the cross-disciplinary nature of our company. Canadian-born of Lithuanian parents, Saulius grew up in a multilingual, scientific environment. With an M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics from Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario, Saulius -- a member of PEO (Professional Engineers Ontario) -- leads the specialized translation teams.
Our staff rely on a multilingual base of scientists, engineers and technologists not only for translation assistance, but also for technical advice and input. This is why STTI can say that the concepts and context of any translation, no matter how complex the subject, are understood when translated.
As a result, our list of clients is continually growing.
We work with engineering firms on multilingual engineering projects -- we understand the big picture, whether it's design, development, process control or management. Another way that concepts and context are understood.
In 1999, we presented a Forum for Translators in Deep River, Ontario for new translators and those interested in the profession.
